Finally got my Royal Alloy 300 back on the road. After it took me across the USA in the 2023 Scooter Cannonball I replaced a lot of the bits & pieces with a kit from SF Stainless
The changes included a new horn cast & fender & side panels. The new side panels are much slimmer and don’t have the integrated turn signals of the originals.
The SF Stainless kit came with a blinker set that would mount around the license plate but it was sized for a much larger UK plate. I got a set that were made for US plates and they work great.
It also came with a new seat and glovebox. When it arrived the glovebox’s stripes were misaligned which drove me nuts. So I finally took it off, cut the cover to fit more correctly and reassembled. Now the lines are finally aligned!
Other changes include the bar end mirrors and a racing windshield from SLUK.
The only downside so far is that the paint is extremely easy to chip. I need to figure out how to do a touchup on a few spots. Other than that it’s exactly how I want it. Fast and svelt.
